About Me
My name is Bryan W. Moore and I am a senior Finance Major at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am the Portfolio Manager of the $200,000 Student Managed Investment Portfolio team that was established in 2006, information in regards to the fund can be found at the other website I manage, http://www.iupsmip.com. The fund has outperformed its benchmark every monthly period since inception in November 2006. The fund is allowed to invest in Domestic/International common stocks and fixed income instruments. My experience in investments dates back seven years when I first ventured into stock trading, I have been trading options for five years, and I have been trading FOREX for three years.
After going through the ups and downs of the market for over seven years and hearing the complaints of the people around me in regards to investing, I set out on my goal to develop and test investment strategies that are low risk and offer a high rate of return. The strategies are mostly those consisting of strategies that don’t require individual security analysis, such as the Put Option Dividend Strategy, which is a principle-protected strategy that can be applied to any stock that pays a decent dividend and trades LEAP Put Options.
I started this blog as a way to communicate my ideas with people from around the world in the hopes that they may find the strategies useful. As with many of the strategies that I talk about on the site, I like to think outside of the typical frame of mind and I hope that the strategies help guide you to look at a particular investment strategy from a different point of view. I am constantly learning something new each day, my goal for TheFinancialWhiz.Com is that it becomes a site that I hope someone stumbles upon and finds the information useful and perhaps life-changing.
